a musical taste of our 50th State

Experience the beautiful music and culture of our 50th State from a personal perspective as 35 year Hawaii resident Johanna Logan Cooper and 10 year Hawaii resident M. King Goslin offer this fun and informative program featuring the traditional Hawaiian trio format of ukulele, guitar and acoustic bass.  (Yes, we have a secret guest musician!) Dress code: Aloha Attire!!

Hear the authentic sounds of the conch shell and ancient Hawaiian welcome chant . . .  Learn the Hukilau . . . Say mahalo, makai, mauka, puka and pau like a native!   Win the door prize and talk live with “Mr. Hawaii” on the Big Island of Hawaii!

 For those who have visited Hawaii, this program will be a mini return trip.  For those who have not, it is an invitation to veiw a unique and intriguing culture through some really beautiful and simple music and authentic musical textures.  If you are planning a luau or any Hawaiian theme event we can assist you with details, ordering flowers directly, and even provide videos of Hawaii if requested, as we have family living on Oahu and the Big Island.  Aloha!!
